Enhancing your Weak Immune System
The immune system is what determines one health and fitness. Having a weak immune system, one is vulnerable to any kind of disease that can lead to death. Among all the types of food we consume daily, only few of them are good to our health while quite a good number of these foods are dangerous to our body system. Below are the list of types of foods called immune system boosters that can strengthen the immune system or lead to a weaker immune system, identified as Bad guys and Good guys
Weak Immune System (BAD GUYS) Try to avoid them.
1. Sugar (refined carbon hydrates such as bread and baked goods act pretty much like sugar in the body). Try food that are more gently sweetened with fruit juice, rice syrup or barley malt.
3. Alcohol: when consumed in excess, alcohol is a poison to every system of your body. It depresses the nervous system, depletes vitamin b and is dehydrating.
4. Raw foods: such as clams, oyster, sushi, very rare meats, eggs contained infectious bacterial and intestinal parasites.
5. Fats and oil, nuts, chips, baked goods, fried foods.
Food allergies.
Immune System Boosters (GOOD GUYS)
1. Whole grains, brown rice, millet, quinoa, buck wheat, kasha oat, barley and other whole grain are a valuable source of minerals, vitamins etc.
2. Vegetables: - eat as many vegetables as you can these are really the immune boosting heavy weights.
3. Fresh fruits:- tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes are very high in sugar.
Protein
4. Water: - 6 to 8 glasses of pure water every day.
5. Supplements, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and herbs are an important part of making sure your nutritional needs are met. But taking a lot of supplements while maintaining a poor diet will not have the desired effects so take note.

Great post! If I may add, I've been told that a clear sign to check if a person has good immune system can be told by simply checking his teeth. I had to double check that with my dentist in goose creek and he concurs.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to disagree about the inclusion of coffee in the list. My dentists bloomington il says coffee is actually healthy because it's an anti-oxidant. As long as it's taken in moderation, that won't stain your teeth as well.
