How to Cure Diarrhea with Herbal Medicine

Diarrhea is define as passage of loose, watery stools with increased frequency. When it is associated with vomiting with or without fever it is called gastroenteritis. Diarrhea is common in all age groups but children are more vulnerable. It is more common in poorly nourish children living in poor sanitary conditions. However, as there are so many medications for treating diarrhea, there are also natural effective herbal remedies for treating diarrhea regardless of the cause.

Causes of Diarrhea: 
Diarrhea has a number of causes which includes bacterial infections, poor eating diets, stress, bowel disorders and more. Most cases of diarrhea are due to infection in the alimentary canal by viri, bacteria, parasites and fungi. Milk allergy and allergy to certain food substances can also give rise to diarrhea. 

Certain medicines like antibiotics pain-killers and medicines for cancer can give rise to diarrhea too. Excessive, indigestible food substances and emotional factors like stress and depression can also give rise to diarrhea. 

Herbal Medicines for treating Diarrhea:

1. The concoction of dashmool taken in quantity of 20ml mixed with 2.5gms powder of sonth taken twice daily gives immediate relief. 
2. The powder of harar and pipal taken in equal parts with warm water proves effective. 

3. Bel ki Giri powder 2.5gms to 5gms taken twice or thrice a day is very useful in controlling diarrhea. 

4. The milk of goat boiled with equal quantity of water taken 20-50ml in divided doses gives relief in diarrhea.

5. Take Psyllium capsules, a natural herb that is used for treating bowel irregularity.

6. Take some blackberry jam, it's also one of the best around for treating diarrhea.

7. Make some tea with marshmallow root, fenugreek and chamomile are all rich in tannins which can temporary tightens the intestinal linings.

Do's and Don'ts:

Any type of messages should be avoided. Avoid greasy, spicy food and also over eating. Any type of exercise should not be done. Take light and appetizing diet i.e. Rice, ginger, sonth, anar, jamum etc.
