Top 10 Most Overpaid Hollywood Actors Of 2014 As Released by Forbes. This List May Surprise You!!

The top 10 list of overpaid Hollywood actors of 2014 was released on
Friday by Forbes and it is shocking to see most of the non-popular
actors in the movie industry making a cut.

So, how did Forbes objectively rank the
most overpaid actors? They used math! This is what they said:
"We use data from the research for our Celebrity 100 list and Box
Office Mojo to compile our Overpaid list. We look at each star's last
three major releases (not including animated movies) and come up with
estimates for earnings. We add those earnings together for a total
compensation number. We then add the operating income from the last
three movies and divide that by total
compensation to come up with our
return on investment number."

Check out the surprising list of these overpaid movie actors below.

10. Ben Affleck
Returns $9.37 for every $1 paid.

9. Sandra Bullock
Returns $9 for every $1 paid.

8. Denzel Washington
Returns $6.90 for every $1 paid.

7. Channing Tatum
Returns $6.70 for every $1 paid.

6. Will Ferrell
Returns $6.60 for every $1 paid.

5. Tom Hanks
Returns $5.20 for every $1 paid.

4. Ryan Reynolds
Returns $4.90 for every $1 paid.

3. Ben Stiller
Returns $4.80 for every $1 paid.

2. Johnny Depp
Returns $4.10 for every $1 paid.
While the highest paid actor is...

1. Adam Sandler
Returns $3.20 for every $1 paid.

Surprised by some of those names? Us too! The thing is, Channing,
Sandy B, Denzel, and Affleck are all doing pretty well in the hits
department.
But it turns out their salaries are HUGE (especially when they wisely
make backend deals on big hits), which keeps their return numbers
pretty low.

As for the rest? Well, all it takes is one big Cloud Atlas-sized flop
to make a year seem worse. So what do you say?
