Meet Woman Who Is Married To 10 Men At The Same Time
According to the New York police reports, one Liana Barrientos, 39 years old from Bronx USA is alleged to have been in possession of numerous marriage certificates obtained in several cities in the United State.
The police arrested the 39 year old woman for being a serial bigamist after it was discovered that she has 10 husbands.
She got married to men from Egypt, Georgia, Pakistan, Turkey, United States and other countries.
It was also learnt that Barrientos married six times in 2002 alone and at the time of her arrest, she was still married to four men. When investigators asked Barrientos about her marriage to Vakhtang Dzneladze of Georgia, she admitted to having received money for the marriage. As soon as the wedding bells stopped ringing, seven husbands applied for permanent resident in the country.
When some of them were denied, they filed for divorce and submitted new applications, stating that they were married to other women. Barriento was charged with two counts of offering a false instrument for filing each punishable by up to four years imprisonment upon conviction.
