The female private part called the vagina is a very sensitive area in the woman’s body. The vagina when not properly taken care of can have a fish-like smell and pose a risk to bacteria or fungi infections which is not hygienic for women.
Here I will present to you healthy steps you must follow to clean up or wash your vagina properly to keep it healthy and fresh.
1. When Washing in the Bathroom:
When taking your bath, do not wash the internal part of your vagina thoroughly by scrubbing it with sponge and soap. Only use fresh water to wash it lightly without soap. Using soap will stimulate some bacteria into action.
2. When Cleaning the Folds or Labia Around your Cl!toris:
You should use a mild natural soap and a soft cloth to scrub the skin on both sides gently when cleaning around that area.
3. Clean your Vulva and Vagina:
Clean the vulva and vagina opening gently with mild soap and soft cloth and make sure you don’t go deep.
4. Scrub the area Between your Vagina and Anus:
Make sure you scrub the pernineum and bikini line properly to remove any dirt caused as a result of sweat.
5. Clean Your Anus Properly after going to Toilet:
When cleaning your anus after going to the toilet, use a tissue paper to wipe your anus from front to back not from back to front. And when washing your anal area, make sure you do it properly so that it won’t touch your vagina opening.
This is one of the main causes of rectal germs around the vaginal area which is common causes of urinary infections in women.
