Eva Carneiro born in 1973 is a doctor and the medical trainee for the Chelsea football team. She is currently assistant medical director for the Blues senior team.
The pretty Carneiro was born in Gibraltar to a Spanish father and an English mother. She studied medicine at Nottingham University, spent two years at the Australasian College of Sports Physicians in Melbourne and completed her MSc in Sport and Exercise at Queen Mary University of London.
The 43 years old once worked with West Ham United where she completed her thesis before been employed by the Public Health department at Islington Primary Care Trust. From there, she was appointed to work with the UK Sports and Medicine Specialist training program with the Olympic Medical Institute preparing British athletes for the 2008 Olympic games.
Carneiro also worked with the England women's football team, before she subsequently join Chelsea in 2009. Andre Villas-Boas appointed her in 2011 to work with the Chelsea first team squad having previously worked with the reserve team before. She did well and was retained by subsequent managers like roberto Di Matteo, Rafael Benitez and now Jose Mourinho.
