The news of former First Lady of Nigeria Mrs. Patience Jonathan been arrested and jailed in the United State of America has been circulating and trending on the internet for days now. But before we decide to report this breaking news, we did our research and ask questions as to the veracity of such information and where the source emanated from.
One website name blazehood.com reported the news and tagged it Breaking News. They claimed they confirmed the news of Dame Patience Jonathan's arrest in the United States on orders of President Muhammadu Buhari for gross misconduct and misappropriation of State Funds.
They said the news was disclosed by a close aide of the former First Lady who pleaded anonymity. they further narrated that the former First Lady was picked up at the JFK International Airport in New York by Men of a Special Unit of the DSS attached to the Nigerian Embassy in USA.
According to an explanation from her aide “President Jonathan is covered by immunity but Mama Peace isn’t. So the way I see it, she might pay for all her husband’s misgivings”. This is quite hilarious and unbelievable.
They further said Dame Patience was arrested without offering any resistance, but utter fews words by saying thus:
“The wucked ones have come for me but their plans will fail. Aisha, God is seeing you. Sai Baba, God is seeing you. There is God in heaven. He will release me because I am innocent”.
Former President Jonathan has not offer his comment so far.
