Over 717 People Killed and 800 Injured in Saudi Arabia Hajj Stampede (See Photos)
It has been reported that at least 717 people lost their life while over 800 are injured in stampede that happen during Muslim Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
According to Islamic teachings, it is required that all faithful Muslim must perform Hajj once in their lifetime so every year the event is grace with millions of Muslims across the world who visit Mecca for the religious ceremony.
Saudi officials said they prepared about 100,000 police and huge number of stewards to ensure safety and help those who lost their way.
But today, crowds over million in numbers stumble upon each others left over 717 persons dead with 800 injured and currently receiving treatments. See more photos after the cut.
