Nigerians blast TB Joshua over failed Prophecy on US Election

The founder and owner of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Temitope Joshua, has come under barrage of criticism from Nigerians on social media over his prediction of the winner of the US presidential election ahead of the November 8 poll.

Before the election, TB Joshua has predicated that Hillary Clinton will win the US general election.

Prophet TB Joshua during his church sermon on Sunday, November 6, predicted a narrow victory for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party presidential candidate.  “Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win,” he said in his prophecy. “The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President. The boat of the new President will be rocked,” he added.

But it seems T.B. Joshua’s latest prophecy has angered some Nigerians who challenged him to offer predictions on the economic challenges in Nigeria, the Boko Haram insurgency and many other problems facing the country. Some also cast doubts on the authenticity of Joshua’s prophecy, and questioned why the cleric did not foresee the collapse of his own church guest house in 2014.

Others suggested that TB Joshua was predicting a win for Hillary Clinton because polls have already put her ahead of her republican rival, Donald Trump. Now that Donald Trump has won the US election, more insults and blasting over his failed prediction are now trending on Twitter.
