Notorious Boko Haram terrorist arrested by NSCDC
A Boko Haram terrorist from Sambisa forest was arrested in Adamawa. The terrorist said he has killed only 10 persons since he joined the dreaded group. A suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Amos Hassan, has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Adamawa.
Vanguard reports that Mr Aliyu Musa who is the state commandant of the corps made this revelation on Wednesday, April 19.
Musa said the suspected terrorist was apprehended on Tuesday, April 18 at the Federal Housing Estate in Bajabure area of Yola. “He was arrested by our surveillance team and had made confessional statement that he had killed about 10 people since he joined the group.”
The state commandant said the terrorist had signs of healing bullet wound and confessed he was from Sambisa forest. In his confession, Hassan said he came from Azare in Bauchi State and confirmed that he has killed about 10 people.
A few days ago, Boko Haram terrorists raided a military post killing five soldiers while five others were left injured. Mustapha Karimbe who is one of the civilians assisting the army in the fight against terrorism said the terrorists burned three armored cars and took military vehicles. He said: “The terrorists attacked the soldiers… and remained in the village for three hours before they withdrew.”
